Eligibility criteria for United Arab Emirates University Scholarships

To apply for a Master's and PhD program at the United Arab Emirates University, the student must meet the following requirements:

You need a Bachelor's degree in your chosen field or a related area from a university recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
You need an IELTS score of at least 6.0 or equivalent if your program is taught mainly in English.
Your IELTS score should be less than two years old at the time of application.
Native English speakers who completed their undergraduate studies in an English-speaking country.
Applicants from English-medium institutions with a minimum IELTS score of 5.0 at the time of their undergraduate admission.
If your IELTS score is 5.5, you can get conditional admission but must achieve a 6.0 by the end of your first semester and maintain a GPA of 3.0 in your initial courses.
If your GPA is between 2.5 and 3.0, you can get conditional admission but must maintain a GPA of 3.0 in your first nine credit hours.
For programs taught in Arabic, a minimum IELTS score of 4.0 or equivalent is required.
Proof of payment for the application fee.
Copy of passport (and Khulasat Al-Qaid for Emirati students).
Two certified copies of transcripts from all attended institutions.
Official IELTS certificate or equivalent.
Recommendation letters as specified by the program.
